I got pulled over by a Texas Highway patrolman last Saturday. My brother and I just left the deer camp and I was driving up the farm road and we noticed the cruiser about a mile away. I didn't think nothing of it and he hit his lights as soon I drove by.
Here is how a traffic stop is SUPPOSED to happen. I find a good spot on shoulder of road. Both my brother and I have our hands up on dashboard/steering wheel and drivers window is down.
Trooper comes up and says politely says he pulled me over for speeding.
He states I was going 66 in a 60 mph zone. He asks if there is any guns in the car.
I say, "Why yes officer, one is on my belt, the other is underneath the driver seat, how would you like me to proceed" ??
He asked for license and I gave him my concealed permit, proof of insurance, after asking if my brother could open the glove box.
Gentleman was polite, gave me a warning ticket and we were on the way.
As I pulled out, I told my brother I was glad he told me what the speed limit was, instead of asking me what I thought it was, I would of said
"As fast as this dang truck can go"!!
