I carry Two Snubs at all times. You can't beat a New York Reload. I also carry reloads for both weather its Two 357s or One 357 and One 38.
I agree. I am a proponent of carrying two guns. I carry one on my ankle and one on my belt (sometimes a third in my pocket).
When seated, especially when belted in a car, the belt carry or pocket carry weapon is largely inaccessible. But the ankle carry weapon is easily accessed.
When standing the pocket carried or the belt carried weapon is easily accessible, while the ankle carried weapon is largely inaccessible.
So carrying two weapons solves three problems.
1. Better access in all situations.
2. Quicker "reloads" via New York re-loads
3. Back up gun available, if needed.
I am perfectly comfortable carrying a Glock 27 on my ankle and it is there all the time.
In the fall and winter I carry a Glock 23 on the belt.
In the summer I replace that with a 640 Pro as it conceals better under an untucked shirt.
I don't carry any other ammo. I figure 15 rounds will be enough.
