I'm too old to eat fast food, at least fast food prepared by some outlet. I still eat Hebrew National all beef hotdogs, prepared at home, thats about as fast as I get.
There is more than enough calories in one fast food hamburger than most people need to eat in one full day, if you throw in fries and a soft drink it is no wonder Americans are fat.
My wife gets all kinds of upset when she sees adds for fast food in the evening or even late at night, they know that people will get up and go get something to eat just by mere suggestion.
I'll never forget one of the first things my son said when he got back in country after a week in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. He said "I knew I was back in America when I got in the airline terminal and saw all the fat people." I asked him if he didn't see any fat people on his trip, he said "Sure you see the odd fat person but not here, everybody is fat...its the thin people that stand out."
