How Much Coffee and Tea Do You Drink?

Daily, I drink several cups of strong coffee and some tea.
But no sugar. I don't need no stinking sugar!
I'm already sweet enough!

The first thing in the morning is a cup of hot tea.

Then coffee enters the picture, the entire day usually is a mixture of either a cup of coffee or tea.

After a meal coffee seems to rule.

I guess I am OK according to the latest findings.
But of course that may change once again in 6 months.

I don't drink coffee. (just don't care for it, crazy I know.) Now sweet tea (iced tea for all of you not from the South. ;)) I can drink it by the gallon, but try to have just one or two glasses a day, so about 16-32oz. Oh and it's normally home made, but if bought Bojangles is the best. :D

I drink 2 cups, black, from my keurig brewer in the mornings. I really enjoy my coffee since going to k-cup style brewer. Tea, half and half with lemonade aka Arnold Palmer has become my most recent addiction. I'll cut way back on the tea come cooler weather.

Coffee - anywhere between two 20 oz in the morning to 3, 4, sometimes 6 - 8 including cappuccino. Sometimes I'll have 4 of them.

Tea - usually 2 cups in the evening. Sometimes green tea. Other times herbal

About 4 black cups in the early a.m. and I usually like a couple of cups in the late afternoon before I go out for evening chores. There is no earthly reason to drink diet soda. That stuff will make you fat.

I generally drink very little coffee, if I do it is decaf. May be three cups a week. Now Tea is a different story. Average close to a gallon a day. The brew I make my self is also decaf. So about 1/2 of what I drink is high-test . I do not use sugar or fake sweeteners. You can really taste the tea flavor with no sugars.

Decaf? DECAF!!! Drinking decaf is getting all the peeing of regular coffee, but without the pep. I don't see the point. :D I agree with your taste in tea though, iced tea.

Sometimes, I drink decaf coffee or tea in the evening so as not to be kept awake. That's why decaf, when drunk. Sometimes, I drink Rooibos herbal tea then. Twining's has the best blend of that that I've found, but my local grocer quit carrying it. I may have to order from the US importer in (ugh!) New Jersey.

Those 20 oz. cups of coffee mentioned above make me feel better about my intake. My cups are about std. restaurant size.

four(4) twelve oz cups per day, black, real coffee (not decaf), starting in morning and going throughout day. Drink iced tea at lunch and supper. Probably have caffeine in my veins instead of blood. :D

Two cups with a little half and half every morning from our Keurig machine. I'm not really awake until the first cup is gone.

I also got hooked on cocoa. I was given a french press and ground cocoa beans as a gift and it makes the best hot chocolate I've ever had. The ground cocoa is kind of expensive but worth the occasional cup on a cold day.

Usually 1-2 cups of hot coffee (touch of cream only please) in the morning. Seldom after 9:00am.

Lunch is typically accompanied by a glass or two of fresh brewed unsweetened iced tea. If not at lunch, then I might have a glass or two with dinner. I pay dearly with lack of sleep if I drink too much caffeine after dinner.

I drink hot tea at night in the winter. It's always decaf, but usually flavored with a shot of something "medicinal".

I drink quite a bit of iced coffee most any time of day and any time of year. I'm ok getting half decaf or full decaf if I'm over my "daily limit". I will add 1/2 a packet of Slenda and a full dose of cream to my iced coffee.

1 cup of tea in the morning with 2 black tea bags and 1 green tea bag. Occasionally I'll have another around noon with just the 2 black tea bags

Kozmic

Someday try a cup of hot tea with a scoop of strawberry preserve added. You can thank me lata.:D

Two 12 ounce cups in the morning, straight, and I'm done for the rest of the day for most of the week. I go to a morning meeting once a week and usually drink a small cup there. No sodas at all except an occasional glass of tonic and lime to ward off leg cramps or if I'm at a party. Rarely drink iced tea; but though I'm a Tennessean living in Kentucky I want it unsweeteded. In cold weather I often like a hot, strong cup of Twinings Irish Breakfast tea. Sometimes I sweeten it and add a little milk, but usually take it straight as well.

My late brother drank a lot of coffee, and swore it helped him sleep.

By the way, the studies of coffee helping to prevent Alzheimer's are interesting; but one of the best ways is to keep exercising the mind. The "use it or lose it" principle can be applied here as well.

One of the things I'm missing most since my brother died a couple of weeks ago is our daily exchange of short parodies of TV commercials, lines from bad B movies, etc. That and creative ways of telling each other affectionately to go do improbable things to ourselves...

I've always had a job where the coffee was hot and fresh. I'm sure I drink a couple pots a day, everyday. The only thing I miss, going from be a LEO to Security at a refinery, is the nice gentlemen in orange coveralls that use to bring it to me. :) Now I have to get it myself.

I might have one cup of joe in a year--mostly I drink iced tea. I start the morning off with a CHOCOLATE protein drink and 1... 8 oz glass of water--whih helps me when it comes time to doing natures call. then, through the next few hrs--usually between 11:30 AM til about 3PM,illdrink about 40 ounces unsweet iced tea. I cant stand it with suger anymore as it makes my stomach ill--but I use Splenda--and best of all with slpenda--its the only artificial sweetner that des not cause weight gain. After that--about 5-6 times a week--ill drink a Dr. pepper 10, then more water at night. Sometimes--I alternate a bit and use some of theose water flavors like: grape, Strawberry, TEA, and maybe something else.

every day = 4 mugs of coffee at breakfast; 4 mugs of tea at dinner............NO sweetener, NO cream, NO flavoring...........just hot n black......
