How to pick the "right" sights?

All of my issued hand guns came with Trijicon. I had Trijicon HD sites installed before I even shot it. Just my opinion.

I know what you mean about seeing them online and I originally bought a set on Ebay and when I found they wouldn't work (before I opened the package) I requested a return and received on ok to do so. Then I decided to go with the TruGlo TFX Pro Day/Night Sights and haven't regretted my decision. They have fiberoptic rods that light up in the daylight and tritium on the sights that glow green for nightime shooting so you have the best of both worlds. I will admit that at an indoor range where I sometimes shoot, the lighting is poor over me where I stand and I'm in a bad lighting situation where I primarily only see the slhouette of the sights because it's not dark enough to cause the tritium to be seen and there's not enough light to light up the fiberoptic rods. But in daylight or nightime, I really like these sights more than any other I've had. And I've had no problem with accuracy. Regards, Elliot45

I really believe that the Truglo TFX Pro day/night sights are what you are looking for. The front and rear fiber optic sights light up during the day, and at night, the tritium-filled sealed tubes light up great at night.

Many good recommendations in the thread--but I think these are what you really want based on your own criteria.
