How would you celebrate your 65th birthday?

I believe I've only ever taken one day off for my birthday in the past. It was my 60th. My 65th will be the 2nd time. I believe both of these birthday's are milestones. I feel truly blessed. I very rarely get sick or miss work. I usually treat birthdays the same as any other day, but the older I get the more thankful I am for the birthdays I'm blessed to have.

I'll just be happy to make it to 65.
That's only 7 years away, but a lot of men in my family don't make it that far and very few have made it to 70.
Not being negative or morbid, just realistic.
If I make it that far or farther, great.
If I don't I'm OK with that too. I don't have a lot of regrets, and am confident of what's waiting for me on the other side.

Hope you have a great 65th Wdbutcher97.

I'm not planning anything special in around 3 weeks either.
What's the big deal.
Just wish my eyesight was better for the range and girl watching!!

Fuzzy vision makes a 7 into a 9.5. Clear vision reveals she's actually a 4. Maybe 4.5. Get a special prescription for shooting and take your glasses off when scoping out the babes.:D

About 10 weeks ago. Celebrated on a Sunday after church; nice ribeye, a glass of red wine, and a big gooey piece of molten fudge cake.

I had bought the last reasonably priced AR lower in Ohio the week before!

A friend about 15 years older than me said;

Birthdays are the best times to buy guns, along with Tuesdays and Thursdays!

Birthdays are the best days to eat steak along with Fridays and Sundays!

Birthdays and Mondays are the best days to sleep in.

Birthdays, Wednesdays & Saturdays are the best days, to get grand kids to visit.

Ivan

BTW, personally I have bought guns on 16 of my last 20 birthdays, because I slowed down from the previous 20!

The last notable birthday I remember is because of this picture. It was my 65th plus 10 years! Some close friends from our days way back in grade school treated my wife and me to a delicious meal complete with incredible Margaritas at a wonderful restaurant in Fountain Hills, AZ. It was a very pleasant evening with good friends and my bride.
