And the drum keeps beating.
Wonder how that's going to work out for them with all the new gun buyers frustrated by the PRESENT regulations.

Yeah a friend at the LGS where I did a transfer today pulled up this viral rant by the owner of Warrior something or other guns and played it for me.

It was a rant at all the first time gun buyers, saying "NO we can't speed up the MANDATORY 10 day wait, NO you can't pay me extra and get your NICS check to clear faster, NO you can't take your gun home today - that isn't how it works" and on and on.

Maybe some of these morons who've been voting all these years to make buying guns harder and harder for law abiding citizens (just like THEM) will wake up and start supporting rolling BACK some of the restrictions.

Maybe they'll wake up and stop voting for politicians and laws that restrict their rights. We can only hope.

Aren’t they supposed to be dealing with the COVID19 and not wasting time on this nonsense?

Pay attention to what my right hand is doing. Do not look at what I have in my left hand, there is nothing there that you need to be concerned about.

Hopefully some of our congress critters will take the time to read the bill before they might find it forced to a vote, perhaps late at night, maybe after a marathon session dealing with Covid19. It seems that some of them like to pass bills before anyone can see what is in those bills.

We have a weekly radio broadcast hosted by LEPD firearms that airs every Saturday on 610 WTVN. The subject about first time firearms purchaser came up and the common surprise about how hard it is to purchase a firearm. Especially, in the anti 2A states. I hope this has a negative effect on the anti gun sentiment out there. I hope the people who want to buy one to protect themselves and can't will understand our collective concern. Maybe they will realize that law abiding citizens are being forced to jump through unnecessary bureaucratic hoops for no logical reason. Guns don't create violence - people do.

Nobody should be surprised by this. These politicians are witnessing how easy it is to trash the Constitution and strip civil liberties when people are afraid. As the old saying goes, you make hay when the sun shines...and the sun is definitely shining bright right now.

Ҥ 932. License to own firearms and ammunition

“(a) In General.—Except otherwise provided in this section, it shall be unlawful for any individual who is not licensed under this section to knowingly purchase, acquire, or possess a firearm or ammunition.

Note the way the law is set up: “It is illegal to keep or bear guns or ammunition — with the following exception”

It's interesting to scan through this lunatic bill. But be careful, if the dems get control of the House, Senate and the President you will most likely see this come up. Of note is that this licensing requirement does not apply to anyone who legally possessed their guns prior to the law taking affect. Right, I wonder who is going to figure that one out. Also there is a 30% tax on all firearms and a 50% tax on all ammunition.

And to think, WE are paying someone to write this ****.
