I am Looking For Some Pity

This is what those of us with ADD have to deal with every day.

I started dinner in the oven then my mind suddenly remembered I needed a couple of stainless screws and went to ACE Hardware got the screws and came home.

While at ACE I thought about a couple of other things I might need and wandered around for awhile.

1.5 hours later I got home.

When I got home I saw a little smoke in the kitchen and then remembered I had started dinner.

What you see is what it is like all the way through, difficult to cut with sharp Chef's knife.

Wish I had a Pup but do not so it went to the trash.

Swanson's frozen for dinner tonight.

Side Note: Cannot take Adderall or other such meds when over 60 causes heart problems.

So sorry to see a good cut of beef ruined.

But,

1. Pity has only one "T".

2. Cooked meats and fats are not good for dogs.

3. Even though I identify as an older, white, male; Swansons identifies me as a family of 4.

switch to sous vide cooking... you can't over cook that way...

My rule is start long term cooks at beer three. If you're not driving you tend to remember the food you put in the oven (or at least will be there to smell the smoke).

Do not start any computer maintenance activity after eight at night unless you are used to going to bed at 0300.

Went out to bring in the trash bin. I'd left the car out earlier and noticed the new wiper blades were still in the garage,so I installed em. A couple Japanese beetles lit on it while I was changing the blades so I hooked up the sprayer and hosed down all of the ornamentals.put everything away and closed the garage. The bin is still out there lol

Reminds me of college life. Three of us got together and a frozen pizza was put in the oven. Beer time. Around 8pm, we all went into the parking lot to see the hosts '57 Chevy. A walk across the street for more beer, more car talk and some nice-looking girls rounded out the evening. Around 1am the pizza was done. Inedible charcoal but with a college decal added when it cooled off, it took the center stage on the wall. A hole had to be drilled in the rim of the crust for a nail, but it hung there for the next two years.

Totally aside from ADD, that resembles early-onset Alzheimers, or something like that. It won't get any better!!!

There's an air fryer thread here somewhere. Try that one. "Cannot take Adderall or other such meds when over 60 causes heart problems." I'm not trying to be an idiot (it comes natural) but you may want to try some "natural" remedies from the dispensaries. It's too strong for me so I don't, but I know people who do. Ask someone you may know who uses herb, but remember it's federally illegal to have a card and buy a firearm. Of course, if I tried that and threw a pizza into the oven bad things would happen.

I've been known to eat meat that done. Mahe a gravy/sauce using onion tops, butter, and Worchester, season to taste. If after soaking up some sauce it doesn't crunch on every bite, you did good. I call those dishes "Extreme Jerky!"
