We spoke with Brylee's doctor today and he confirmed that she has a malignant tumor.She is scheduled for surgery early tomorrow morning. They need a larger Biopsy of it to determine just exactly what cancer that it is, so that they can give the right Treatment to shrink this tumor. During surgery they will install a port so that they can administer Chemo treatments to shrink the tumor down it is now the size of an egg. it has Not effected her lungs tomorrow they will get Bone marrow for testing as well. The surgery to remove the tumor will more than likely have to take place in Memphis, Tennessee that will be looked into and discussed more later on. The family is holding there own at this time, we are a very close Knit family I make sure that we all stay together and strong through this. Today was Brylee's birthday she became just One year old. We brought her presents and she got a lot of present's from other friend's and relatives. people are really up-holding us with prayers and act's of Kindness the like's that I have never seen in all my 55 Year's it is very humbling & comforting. My Heart is very heavy for my Little Brylee right now my wife and I try our best to be as strong as we can for our Kid's we pick our time to discuss this and weep away from our children it is all that we can do now until this Ugly monster is finally gone.

My sincerest prayers sent for that little angel. She is beautiful and very brave. I will not pretend to say that I know what you are going through right now, but my newborn daughter was given a serious diagnosis a couple months ago. What I do know is the feeling of wanting to take her place and have it happen to you instead of her.

Just now saw your update that the tumor is malignant, hammerdown.
That makes it more complicated, no doubt about it, but there is nothing beyond His power to heal. Brylee is one of his special sweet children, and His will for her is full of His love. She is in His hands and those of her caregivers, and I will continue to pray for His will to be done, which it will, and for strength for all of you as you pass through this trying time. I do believe with all my heart that Brylee is going to be fine, and will live a full life with all of this in the unremembered past, and will know Him even more closely from having come through this.

Hello All
My wife & i spent time with Brylee last night. She is in a Lot of pain due to the Chemo Port in her chest that is Implanted and her Throat is very sore due to the Tube they had down it suring surgery. Her crying Rip's my heart out they gave her pain medicine last night and we stayed until she was calm and falling asleep. The Pathologist will be speaking with another Pathologist at the Memphis, Tennessee St. Jude's hospital soon to confirm what type of cancer that it is that Brylee has and how to Treat it. They will be using Chemo Treatment's to shrink the tumor soon as well. The family remain's strong for Brylee while she is sick by all of these procedures. She had to have a Blood Transfusion due to her Massive Blood loss. Yesterday they took the second biopsy so that they could diagnose the cancer type easier. It is very hard seeing her in this Pain, but she has to endure it so that they can rid her of the cancer. They may let her come home this weekend before they start treatments of Chemo on her we feel that it will be good for her. Our Other Granddaughter Turns three this weekend so there will be a Birthday party for her to Lift Brylee's spirit as well as the family. We are awaiting to hear what this Tumor is the children's hospital staff tell's us that they have never seen a tumor of this Kind before but at this Point we know that it has No effected her Lung's Nor Bone marrow.
