I could use your Prayer's and thought's right now For our 11 Month Old Granddaughter

Kurt;
Your last post tore at my heart. Each morning, after dinner and at bed time, I talk to Jesus at length. I ask him to take control, comfort Brylee, ease her pain and suffering and to give strength to her family and to give absolute knowledge to her doctors and those attending her.

Jesus is there waiting to be asked for help. We ask thru prayer and he will respond. We believe that Jesus has a life's plan for all who believe in him, though sometimes we do ask why ? If you know Jesus as your savior, you understand what I am talking about. We must pray, pray pray, that Jesus takes control, and then have faith.

Kurt....I just found this thread.

Prayers sent for a successful treatment of her cancer and her return to a healthy and full life. Also, prayers for strength and courage for the family.

God Bless.

Hello All
We learned yesterday that Brylee has Germ cell egg sack cancer. There is Fewer than 1000 Cases of it per year in the U.S., it is found in chidren from 1-7 Year's old mainly. If not treated it can spread to the Lung's and brain it has not done that yet. It is Treatable and the sucess rate is at 80 % so she will start her Chemo Therapy next week. They allowed her to come home last night so we all went out to supper and she ate very well. Warmest Regards, Kurt

Kurt,

Prayers sent from Central New York for you, your family, and especially your beautiful little granddaughter, Brylee.

Treatable! 80%! Good words and I like the odds, esp. with all us folks pulling and praying for you and the family. Sounds like you could take a moment for yourself to catch your breath and reflect on just how much Brylee's story has affected the bunch of us. We're rooting for ya, pal.

Hello soFlaNative
This is very Mind draining to all of us. I really appreciate the prayer's and support this is not easy on any of us. I hope the Chemo shrink's this monster so that they can get it out before it Grow's any more, it was gut wrenching to see her all hooked up to I.V.'s and such while she was in the hospital, she was confined to her metal crib it just does not seem fair that she has to go through this procedure, but the family remain's strong for her as we have to during all of this procedure. This may take upward's of a year to get her better again though...:( Regards, Kurt

Kurt,

I am so glad that it is treatable with such a high success rate! Just remember that you have hundreds of people praying for her and you and your family and God hears every one of them. I also urge everyone to contribute to the fund you set up to help with financial needs because I know ya'll will need it.

I know this is overwhelming for you, but God is in control and He will never let you down.

Kurt,

What an awful thing for your family to have to go through. My heart goes out to you all. I'm praying that the 80% success rate is the first step in the full recovery of little Brylee. Cancer is a terrible disease that plays no favorites in that it can affect anyone regardless of age. Sending many prayers and good thoughts to your family. Take care of little Brylee as well as each other and take things one day at a time.

Here is my Family. Santa has the new born twin's in his arm they were born just three week's ago and are still two week's pre-mature but are doing fine now, Our Daughter Nicky is Holding Brylee, Look at that smile No one would ever guess that she has Cancer and Addison who will be Three this weekend is Next to my son in law Tyler. Cancer is Not going to keep our Grand Kid's from seeing Santa, to Tell him what they want for Christmas...;)

May the LORD bless you and guard you.

May the LORD make His face shed light upon you and be gracious unto you.

May the LORD lift up His face unto you and give you peace.

Numbers 6:23–27

I know my lovely wife already sent wishes from another part of the internet, but we both hope and pray for the best for this little child. No child should have to go through this type of ordeal. Children should never have to face anything past which cartoon to watch, or which friends like her most.

Looking at the photo with Santa I can see even though it's not easy, they all manage a smile. Admirable group of folks.

Have to say, I haven't seen a pair of pants like Addison's since the '70s :D

My prayers offered for your precious granddaughter. Sometimes life seems so unfair; to have cancer visited upon this tiny child challenges what faith that I have. My hopes for a speedy recovery and re-uniting of the family.
