A short time ago, I bought a package of A-Zoom 38 Special snap caps from an online retailer only to find out that the package was short one round. Since I they're relatively low value, and I didnt have a revolver that I needed to stick them in right away, I just let it go and didn't bother with trying to exchange the package. Fast forward to a couple weeks back, I happened to mention it to the folks at my favorite LGS, and they slid another package of 38 special snap caps they had in their inventory across the counter that also only had 5 rounds in it. Apparently, it's a common occurrance. That night, i reached out to Lyman Group, who owns A-Zoom, and queried their customer service request page as to whether they could send me one loose cap to complete the set of 6, as I now have a revolver to put them in. They responded next day saying no problem, they would get one out to me asap.

Today a package arrived for me, and it was a bit bigger than I ever expected. Instead of sending a single snap cap, I received not one whole new package of caps, but five. Five brand new 6 packs of 38 special snap caps!

I've got to say, they are a really good group over there, and I really appreciate their generosity. If anybody from Lyman Group follows the forum, you guys rock, thank you!

that right there is something . most wouldn't have sent you one much less treat you like a valued customer . i am not the only one here that will make a mental note and patronize them at every opportunity . i like it , a lot .thanks for sharing , kenny :eek::eek:

And they still got it wrong but in a good way... And what's with their obsession with 5 of everything??
