I have Temporarily stopped shooting 22 LR......

This crazy frenzy over guns and ammo is frustrating and reminds of 2008. I had just "found" my love of pistols and shooting. (late bloomer due to ex being a hater of guns) I bought several pistols and a couple of boxes of ammo and started shooting. Then WHAM the gun and ammo craze hit. Couldn't find ammo anywhere except gun shows for exorbitant prices.

I socked away a few boxes and always bought when going shooting. Now I have a small supply and am going to weather this storm and then REALLY stock up. The current Mrs joked I had an arsenal's worth of ammo until the shortage, now she too is saying how we need to buy more when things settle down.

I'm even contemplating learning how to re-load in the future.

Our Walmart has not had 22 ammo for over a month and do not know when, if ever, they will get more. At least that is what the manager is saying.

Straightening up the gun cabinet the other night.

have 25 bricks or 22lr, a case or 22lr (5000) and then a tin of 3k .

The brivcks/case are all from the 70's and 80's (my father dated them when he purchased them. Not sure what the date is on the millitary issue tin is.

Guess I have enough to last for a few years.

I got lucky and bought a case of CCI SV for $275 shipped.
I had to wait 27 days to get it, but I got it 2 days ago.

I've been waiting on 500 Stingers from Cabelas since end of November....
