I have the suppressor ready version of the 22c and most of you have read about the difficulty in getting the suppressor adapter off in order to take off the slide. The OEM wrench broke the first time using it. The well made EWK wrench will not fit over the suppressor adapter shoulder. I tried grinding the wrench down but screwed it up and didn't want to spend another $23 for another one to experiment with.

So, I took measurements of the adapter and designed a simple flat wrench in MachineShop. I then sent the dxf file to their online machine shop and had 10 wrenches made out of chrome moly steel. After four days I had my wrenches.

I had to barely touch up the opening with a file and the wrench fits perfect. I took the suppressor on and off a dozen times and really cranked it down each time. The wrench did not break but I know there is a wee bit of flex in the steel since the wrench fits a tad looser after a dozen uses. For the occasional need to strip the gun, this will work fine. Now, what to do with the other 9 wrenches?
