had a fail to feed or eject i think and when i came home today after examining there is a dent i noticed.

is this normal or on your rifle?

Please take a look at the pics i dont know the name of the part. next to the hole where the bullet goes into..

lastly if its not supposed to be there i assume SW will take care of it.

pics

DENT IS ON THE RIGHT IN THE PIC NEXT TO HOLE

thanks

thats on several rifles ive worked on dont know its purpose but it was definately not caused by the bullet... as a rule of thumb lead will not dent steel.. atleast not that small of an amount.. hope this answers you question

All is well.... mine has the same mark. (had to do some scrubbing but found it:o)

Same here, mine is brand new unfired, just got it yesterday, and mine has that saem indentation, so it must be normal!

imma have to shoot more to phil it up then

im at 1000 total today

like a birthday party for the toy

total issues with rifle 6 out of 1000 rounds

1 ftfeed
1 jam
4 ftfire

1. There's a dimple at 12 o'clock on the breech on all of them.

2. It is physically impossible to get two cartridges in the chamber at the same time.
