I think society is doomed.

Cars and gas pumps are already designed so that cars can be filled from both sides.

Like most cars, mine has the filler on the left side. However, if all the pumps that favor that arrangement are busy, I can use one of the opposite side pumps, and save a lot of time. Have you ever noticed how the pump's hose is much longer than the distance from the pump to the car, and wondered why? That is so that you can *pull* on the hose to make it reach across to the other side of your car.

Ever wonder why these whizz bang car engineers will ever put the gas tank filler in the center of the rear on the car again???

Every wonder what is the CEO of all these car manufacturers are thinking when they have the same problem pulling up on which side of the pumps?

The laundry I use has a waste basket in the bathroom that people throw their used TP in and the put it right in front of the sink. The last time I used the bathroom there, I placed the waste basket directly beneath the turbo-jet hand drier. It immediately empties the basket. It's like one of those booths that has money blowing around that you try to grab. It was moved the last time I was there.

Recycling of toilet paper is honorable way to save a penny and save a tree all at the same time. It does take keen eye and excellent dexterity to remove "ALL" of the unused sections of toilet paper for the recycling process. I understand many of the toilet paper recycling workers have Harvard law degrees. Please don't interfere with their system by moving things as other than misreading the US constitution, those Harvard Lawyers may not have enough sense to look around for their used toilet paper repository and will be out of a job.

Unfortunately not all cars have the filler on the same side (I know, they should) so if there is only one row of pumps and my vehicle's filler is on the opposite side I have to drive around you and back up to the pump behind you. It's a no win situation.
e.

A shame cars no longer have the filler located behind the license plate.

Just guessing here; but I'm pretty sure they quit putting the fillers behind the license plate because when people forgot to put the caps back on, the gas spilled out all over the road. And I worked at 'Service Stations' back in the day and saw it happen gobs of times. Again, just guessing.

These signs were at the urinals in Gwinnett, Ga at the Triple A baseball stadium.

Was someone in there lapping it up? Was it a problem? I mean the end has to be near if you have to remind folks not to drink out of the urinals.

It was for the stray cats safety....it will keep certain special interest groups off their back. MEOW!
