I want to replace my M&P22 Compact's Sights.

Just got back from the range with my wife and I as we were trying to sight in our 22's for an upcoming Pistolseed event. Discovered that the M&P22 that my wife tried a year back at a Pistolseed event wasn't a fluke and the rear sights are an absolute ***.

Jut lilke the one from last year, our two brand new, out of the box, rear sights came loose and fell out after less than 50 rounds. Her's fell out during the 3rd magazine and mine fell out during the 5th magazine full. I put the sights back in(didn't loose the screw on either one) and mine seemes to stay put and not move after reinstalling and setting. Hers couldn't sit still for more than 5 rounds.

A quick Google search found Dawson sights. Just wondering if there are any other companies out there that make them for the M&P22 C's. I'd like to get the new sights on there and have time to work with them before we do our PistolSeed even in December.

Wow, what remarkably rotten luck! So three rear sights just fell out of your M&P Compact .22s! After fewer than 50 rounds?!

Golly! I thought I was rough on gear. Three different guns!

Hey, now I've never heard of this being an issue (and I'm happy to report it's not anything like an issue with my gun which keeps working perfectly after thousands of rounds), but before you actually buy a Dawson (or any other aftermarket) sight, perhaps you should call the manufacturer and tell them about your travails and ask whether they would recommend you buy their product to counter the issues you've been having.

It's probably worth the phone call to avoid further heartache and hassle, eh?
