If you ever want to stump a doctor, ask them this question

Please allow me to wax philosophic on this subject. I feel qualified as an expert on this'n. First of all I believe that "booger" IS the medical term for it. It may sometimes appear by other names such as oysters on the half shell. In a long ago defunct tv show the veteran character actor Jack Elam saw a raw oyster in a restaurant and said the classic tv line,"that looks like something that fell out of an ox's nose." :D I've been a big fan of his ever since I heard that.

They even come in seasonal varieties such as the Christmas booger which is red on one end and green on the other. I could go on but I don't wanna push my luck. ;)

Undoubtedly the stupidest subject ever fielded on this forum. Nice job, you win the prize if you had to ask a Doctor, hope your medical insurance covered that one. Probably cost $150 or more for stupid snot question specialist consultation. Geez.........come on! But it is pretty damn funny, snot jokes....well it has been a long and snowy winter. Don't blame me.

Cheers;

When you go to kiss your girl friend,
and her nose is runny,
you may think it's funny,
but it'SNOT!

This fits in with Caje's daffynition.

I agree a booger is dried nasal mucous.

Now that we kind of know what a booger is, is ear wax flammable? Can you use enough of it to burn like a candle for light?

The correct term is a colloquial phrase "Dried Nasal Mucus" the generic slang name is "Boogers"
