It's snowing down here and the way it looks now we might be socked in until Spring It's accumulating and has now covered the lawn. I now know how the Donner party felt. DO I hunker down or do I chance it and try to get out. Worst of all, I DON'T have a dedicated snow gun.
Worst part is that it's in the middle of the split-season is closed until NEXT week . Wait....maybe the game warden is socked in....he would never think that someone would be outlawing in the snow.......

Snow here too, in the Heart of Dixie. Schools are closed and the roads are too slick to go to work, but are still safe if you are deer hunting.

How far are you from Baton Rouge? I have close kin that lives there.

It's snowing here in Port Aransas, the Legation lawn has 2 inches and it's comin down thick. First time in 13 years. All the wreckage is covered, there's not a blue tarp roof in sight. It's beautiful.

Lol throw twinkie or moonpie in the mix they never go bad. Snow not comeing but cold is ouch. about 65 degress is my comfort level. It never really gets to hot for me

Nicely reported. You'll be fine so long as you don't take to the highway. I have full confidence in your ability to drive in the snow but not so much in the others that will be out there with you. Stick to the piroque if possible.

Caj- Here is the remedy, you can vary to taste.

1 bottle of your favorite Bourbon.
1 good book
1 good cigar
1 favorite chair or couch
1 good old blanket
1 fireplace (optional in the south)

Mix the above ingredients thoroughly and after an hour or so you won't care about the snow.

No snow here, but I had to close my windows and turn the heat on for the night' got a little chilly. While it won't snow here in FL. the sky LOOKS like the way the sky did when I lived in snow country.

Snowing in Choupic too! about 1/2" on the roof, just a scattering on the lawn. I think the last snow here was 2008.

Ain't that the truth...was down there in the heat of the summer one year...they can't drive on dry payment.

You guys don't ever get snow.? Lucky you. There predicting 6" to 8" maybe so far. Food wise we're good to go. Gas for the plow, check were all set. Wood for the fireplace check. Wood for the woodstove need to bring it in.
