Info on my 586

I have a mod. 586-1, serial #17149 6" barrel .357. Blue. Can anyone help me with a year or any other info on this gun?

Are you sure about that serial number? Any alpha characters?

I guess 1986.

The serial number is located on the butt of the frame under the stocks.

It's also on the frame just above the Model number
