I put a deposit on a .357 that while not new, was darn near pristine. Is $450 for a Mod 60 .357, 2 in barrel, round grip with hogue rubber a good price? Seems competitive to me. My searching hasn't found too many recent sales to compare it against.

Yes, it is a good price. The earliest one was the 60-9 without the internal lock, and the current one the -14 with the lock.

I picked up a 60-7 recently for $420. Gun looked new but it is only a 38 special. For any of the .357 models you probably aren't going to find anything under $450. Typically they are $500+

I paid $425 for a similar condition no-dash model 60 (38 special only) two years ago. I'd pay $25 more for one chambered in 357 in a heartbeat. Heck I'd trade my near pristine no dash for one in 357 (without a lock) right now if I could.

I have a Model 60 in .357, Nicely balanced and at $450.00 it is a good price for a .357. Grab it.
