Is it me (probably) or are forum posters scary?

Well, I can kind of appreciate the under the pillow thing. I once had a G-lock, but it kept me up at night. It was the night sights lighting up the entire room. My guess is they put it under a pillow to hide the light. I think a short barrel N frame on the night stand will provide protection, or at least enough to fight my way to the corner where the coach gun hides. If the double barrel 12 gauge won't do the job, I'm probably not up to it anyway. A man's got to know his limitations. Someone famous said that.

As I get old, lots of things scare me. Many other gun owners, a lot of drivers, maybe most. And folks who drink too much. Gun owners are the least of that grouping.

Thanks Dick for the reply.

As to drinking, here's a good one from another forum;

Due you drink alcohol when you are carrying a firearm (ccw)?

There was one poster that claimed; " sure, I can handle my alcohol better than most". See what I mean about scary?

I have two first cousins that were both shot by other hunters on the very same day! Whats the odds of that! One in wisconsin and one in wyoming. This was in the early 1990`s. Bill had just accepted being a rep for a large company in wisconsin but hadnt started the job yet. The company president invited him on a bird hunt with some other company exect`s. Somehow bill was able to take my uncle (his father) along plus my other uncle. The president shot a low flying bird hitting bill in the face at a distance. One pellet blinded him in one eye and it went into his brain! He recovered but now has to shoot off the other shoulder. Talk about job insurance!
My other cousin, Fritz (also bill`s cousin) was fixing on marrying a divoricee with a kid. He decided to take the kid with him on a antelope hunt to wyoming. Somehow the young man shot fritz along side his head, grazeing him with a .270! I dont know how that one happened, havent seen fritz in 30 years. He also recovered but carrys a scar I hear.

Well, I'm not scary. People whose judgment I trust tell me so. I wouldn't hurt a fly.

Of course other people whose judgment I don't trust tell me I am scary. Or would if they weren't afraid to say so. But they don't have to because I can read their minds.

This whole issue is a little confusing to me in ways that I'm finding it hard to understand.
