there goes any reason to watch 20/20 ever again. Hugh Downs was a libertarian and Stossel is a liberatarian. i saw him when he came to my college to give a speach when he was pimping his "give me a break" book. bought a copy and got it signed and shook his hand. seems rational.

Stossel is one of the best there is. His reporting on the success of CCW permits and the complete failure of gun control are spot on.

Great lineup Charlie, I'd love to see room made for Lou Dobbs, he may be wearing out the welcome mat at CNN. Then again, he's the ONLY reason for me to watch CNN, Dobbs fills in my 7pm time slot.

One possibly negative side effect is that now Stossel can be more easily dismissed by the mainstream media as just another cog in the "biased, research arm of the Republican Party called Fox News."
Mr. Stossel has done some really good work. IIRC, he had a video investigation of college binge drinking. He said he used to do it himself when he was that age. (Of course, no one here ever did anything like that

Given the current pressure by the WH to get the other networks to declare FOX a non-news company you will seen FOX #s go over the top. Stossel is just plain fair & good at what he does. {:{)}

The W/H better start worrying about the big 3 alphabet legacy news outlets no longer being titled as "news organizations"? Tass or Izvestia perhaps, but certainly not news?
