I have a new mp 15 22 MOE that I run a suppressor with, decided to try and install new jp yellow springs per brettvistas videos which were easy to follow so I know they are installed right...Loaded up 5 subsonics and only 2 went off after repeated strikes ( 3 or 4 tries ) and hitting the charging handle for whatever reason...I was wondering if this was common and if there was a way I could be able to run JP spring and have reliable function or if my only option is to switch back to stock. I do have a Oring behind the bolt spring so maybe that was catching or something?:o I recycled round after round with same results :(

I have JP springs in my 15-22, and it functions just fine. Shooting subsonics? Try some CCI MiniMags.

I don't understand what this O-ring is that you mentioned? Mine doesn't have that. Anyhow about the subsonic rds., read your manual it will list the appropriate ammo to be used in the 15-22. Next, some rifles work fine with JP yellow springs, some don't, in my case they didn't (to many FTF's) so I took the advise of one of the members here in the forum, just use the yellow trigger spring not the Hammer spring. I did go one step further though, I also used the yellow disconnector spring, now the trigger pull is lighter, crisper and has a clean break to it, so I'm satisfied with the outcome:D P.S. Some of the ammo I have used with good results are ..... CCI Blazer, CCI Mini-Mags, CCI Stingers, Winchester HVHP, Winchester Super X HP, Federal AM22 Target Grade and Federal CPHP. Hope this helps!;)

I added a rubber grommet myself to try to quiet up the action noise, thinking out loud that maybe its binding on the bolt or not letting everything run smoothly

If you want a quiet .22 that will reliably shoot subsonic ammo, you really should use a bolt gun or a lever action. Semi-autos will always have action noise.

The first thing I would do is remove the O-ring. I would be very surprised if it is not the cause of your problem.

Yeah I was a step ahead.. thats the first thing I did after I posted this in the morning and gave it a test fire and decided to check back here lol, I knew it looked a little thick :p It was backing off the bolt just enough to cause an issue.
