Well, the first step to freedom is first admitting that you are wrong. lol

It's an amazing rifle, I will certainly agree with you on that.

I've been thinking of buying that very model. If you don't mind my asking, where did you buy it and what did it cost? If you don't want to divulge that info I get it, but please post pictures. Most of us can't get enough of rifle porn.

Out of the box the 15-22 accepts all AR-15 style parts and add-ons, including all FCG parts.

This is not accurate. There are quite a few AR-15 parts that are incompatible with the 15-22 without third-party adapter components (e.g. handguards), and some that just flat will not work (e.g. charging handles, receiver extensions).

Congratulations on the purchase as they are great rifles

Local GS. $450 out the door. Sorry I do not know how to post pics. Gotta tell you though it and my Ruger 10-22 don't like Rem. Thunderbolt ammo. Everything else is fine.

Never thought I'd have another .22 I would like as well as my old Ruger 10 22. I was wrong!

New member here, first post.

Congrats. I bought the very same rifle today. Won't have it in hand for a week or so, as I bought it online, and my FFL is out of town.

I bought mine to use as a range rifle. It gets quite expensive taking the MP15 Sport 2 to the range and putting 300 rounds through it. :) The 15-22 will be much easier on the wallet. Totally different experience, of course, but I am looking forward to it.

Enjoy yours!

Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore has them on sale for 349.99 with free shipping for 3 more days. I'd put a link, but I'm not sure if that's allowed here.

I'm not affiliated in any way with any gun seller or anything in the gun related business. I'm just a happy NRA member and love shooting sports. :)

Yes, thanks!

First off you need to go to a upload pic site...i use tinypic

Then you need to select 'browse' (red oval) and choose the image from your machine to upload. When you have selected your file, click the upload button (green oval) You can only select one picture at a time. After you press upload you may get a security question where it gives you a word to type to confirm that you are a real person and not a bot. Then wait and your image will be ready to post to the forum.

I have a 10/22 and have been frustrated with the mags. I just picked up my 15-22 2 weeks ago at a gun show. Deal I could not pass up. $335 - just tax and $5 transfer at the show and i was out the door for $358 in hand. Bought extra mags as well. Now i think i want to sell the 10/22. I liked it..it is a tactical model..and fun to shoot. But the mags sucks. I had one break (factory BX-25) and even with the speed loader it seems to hang up a lot. Not to mention the PITA it is to take fully apart to clean. I own a AR-15 that I built myself, and the ease of this gun to come apart and be cleaned is a terrific thing compared to the 10/22. This is now my favorite 22lr rifle of all. I've ownew a Victory 22 for a while as well. Both have become favorites in my shooting arsenal (9 guns total)
