This is the one that fits nearly flush into the barrel. It could be awesome for use in my revolver since it blinks the laser with every dry fire (no having to rack a slide or anything), but I find that the point of impact of the laser is 4-5" low. I got some of the "reaction time" targets and I can't aim normally and hit them.

Since the point of impact is consistently low, even when putting the laser in and out and rotating it, I guess I can't say that the laser is mis-calibrated or anything. My sights work at the range with live ammo, so I'm not sure what could be going on. Anyone have any suggestions?

I tried it in a Glock and it's on target, but another Smith revolver is also low. Very strange. I fired live ammo yesterday and the hits were right on target. My only guess is that the the muzzle of these revolvers is not perfectly "square" and symmetric the way an auto barrel is. The laser would rely on that to be straight the way it uses a cone to seat.
