My 64 NY-1 joins my NYPD Service Six in my growing NYPD collection
I put 18 rounds through the NY-1 today, excellent shooter, perfect mechanics.
It came from a shop in NY state that sells a lot of NYPD trade ins so I'm pretty sure it's not an over run or a Brinks gun.
Probably just sold to the shop by a retiring officer, which makes sense since that puts it at about 25 years old. It's an early non vapor honed gun with no serial number below the frame window.
