Kim Jong-il the North Korean clownish dictator has his last ride in a Lincoln Continental, I have to do a double take just to make sure, looks like those Capitalist running dog are good at something.

That is from the 1980's. Guess it is still probably the ONLY Lincoln in North Korea.

if the united states is such an enemy, why didn't he take his last ride in a north korean car?

That's a pretty fancy ride for a pot-bellied dog eater.

It's probably been re-labeled a Kim Il Sung Special. How many of those people would even know what a Lincoln is?

What boggels my mind was all the newsreels of the people all greiveing and wailing like as if their baby had died! Was this a demostration for the cameras and they actualy were afraid for their lives if they didnt put on a show? North korea is about the poorist nation in the world. They are starveing to death were it not for many other nations feeding them.
Meanwhile the dictator had his own private road lanes that the peasants couldnt use etc. What gives?

Everything in N. Korea is choreographed. Everything. Less so in China but they still know how to put on a ''patriotic opera,'' complete with smiling plate-twirlers.

No, I think his last ride was on the express elevator to hell, and it's a destination he richly deserved! Adios and good riddance...

That's a great looking Town Car with a back seat big enough to make memories for life! My father was the traffic manager at the Wixom assembly plant where they were built and he got me a job there in the late 1970's. That may be a 1970's vintage limo, based on the grill, the chrome fender trim and the 5 mph front bumper. The fog lamps are aftermarket. At the time, Japan had a huge tariff on American made vehicles and those exported there were required to have fender mounted rear view mirrors. It was a major pain and required special front doors, mirrors and fenders.
If I had a 30-40 year old classic like that, I'd never strap garbage to the roof.

Get 'er up to 70, head for the beach, HIT the brakes!!

SO LONG, KIM JONG! :p

Go inside where it's warm, and crack open the plum wine....;)

All those North Koreans weeping and wailing and gnashing their teeth, what they're really thinking is:
"Why couldn't he have dropped dead in the Spring or Summer? It's COLD out here!"

I read somewhere it was a 1976 modelLincoln. I always get a kick out of their military choreography, the perfect marching and maneouvers and so many of them called out at the snap of a finger to impress the locals.

From the looks of his kid (where do they get those hair cuts?) the new "Supreme Leader" the world may have gotten a little bit more dangerous today.
Does he look a bit like "Chaz" Bono?

"Now that we've got this demonstration of anguished mourning out of the way, let's see if we can find some weeds or bark to eat."

"Great idea, I'm starving! You look for weeds and bark ---I'll see if I can find enough undigested kernels of grain in livestock droppings to make a nice gruel!"

Proof that there are red necks in Korea.
Got the coffin tied to the TOP of the "Rinkon" sedan instead on inside of a hearse.
We have that down here, only they usually can at least scare up a pick up :D
