I've been tring to send an email to them but unfortunately it wont send, can the dealer help me w/ this or or should i need to contact s&w directly? Thanks!

Looks like you lost your extractor. S&W will want it back. Maybe they will agree to you only sending in the bolt assembly.

The shell is still stocked on the barrel though.. I dont wanna pull it out, i want them to pull it my self, it might void the warranty..

Call them tomorrow, explain the situation, they will email you a RMA #, information on the return and a label.

Pulling the shell casing out is not going to void the warrenty.

Looks like you had an out of battery detonation, and the result blew out the extractor.

Your choices are:

1) Call S&W, send the rifle back. This is your best option because you had an OOB, and that way they can inspect the entire rifle.

2) Ignore it, order a Exact Edge Extractor for S&W M&P 15-22 | Volquartsen Firearms. Although it looks like you lost the plunger too, and those appear to be sold out (M&P 15-22 Accessories | Numrich Gun Parts).

Call up S&W; tell them you had an OOB, and it resulted in a blown extractor. They will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), free of charge in both directions.

Thanks.. Ill probobly call them this week..im work 6p-6a drom Monday-wednesday and its thanks giving this thursday, i can no longer remember the ammo im using, i have 5 types, i was able to finished 2 50pcs each but not every thing fired, had to extract every 3-4 rounds..even federal 325 pcs ammo, had several episodes of FTE. I think the ejector is broken too. Almost always happening had to always glance at the ejection port to see if the chamber is open or if thier is a shell every after firing, instead of enjoying, im thinking about FTE and sure enough OOB detonation happened, which they claim very seldomly happens.

Same Thing Happened to ME

The EXACT same thing happened to me in the first week I had my 15-22. I had an out of battery discharge (old ammo), and it blew out my extractor, and I didn't notice. A short time later, I lost the extractor spring and plunger, only I didn't notice and kept shooting. So then, the ejection port got messed up because of a few stovepipes that got stuck to the polymer and melted it.

I sent it in to Smith & Wesson, and they replaced the upper receiver, extractor, spring, and plunger. They sent the rifle back perfect working order with a couple of extra mags and a couple of rail sections for the handguard. They also adjusted the ejector.

I got it back in 10 days, and it has run flawlessly for months. I've run more than 5,000 rounds through it suppressed with subsonic ammo, and it is perfect. Just send it in, and S&W will fix it.

Did the shell got stocked too on youre barrel? Mine is, so i no longer got the chance to re shoot it, i noticed it right away that something was wrong because thier was a smoke that came out. But anyways, ill just have to shipped it to them but i dont think i would be able to do it this week. I just hope they would be able git it fixed and to make it in a perfect working condition.
