Lessons learned on this Forum

Su Amigo,
Dave

I knew Ol Dally later in life when he wuz dealing Faro up in Alpine and makin' peccary sausages on the side. He was Chief Dally-All-Stubs by then... he used to run with that Mah Jong player from Ft. Stockton who walked kinda funny. Short fella named Yuan Hong Lo. Everybody used to think he was a Messican....

I have learned quite a few lessons here on the forum, but if i had to pick one it is this one when a fellow forum members asks makes a prayer request you pray for them.

Yes Sir!

Prayers were asked for my Mother when her physical condition had sunk low and was still fading.

Fine members of this Forum, many of them trained killers who have had to see things that are best unseen and do things that are best not done, responded with sincere prayers. I am Blessed to report that my Mother has stabilized and is slowly regaining her strength and equilibrium.

My God continue to Grant His Healing Grace to all in need.

Anal retentiveness may be an aid in always being grammatically correct.
The plural of knife is knives.
We shall all surely be eaten by a bear, probed by an alien, mated by a sasquatch, swallowed by a giant snake, mugged by a zombie, puzzled by a CTG, or blown up by a +P round. It is our fate, yea, our destiny, and cannot be avoided.

Every single week someone will ask about their ".38 SPL CTG" expecting it to be the gem of a lifetime with "Antique Roadshow" like results.

I've learned a lot about what DeathGrip likes.

I now know between the 9mm and the .45 which caliber is the best.

And I learned what tools I need for the Zombie apocalypse.

But in all seriousness, I have learned that not all internet gun forums are populated by tactical ignorant teenage know-it-alls.

Things I've learned from the forum:

1) DeathGrip is really George H.W. Bush.

Amen!

Buy it when you find it...... It's not always there when you return!!!

...and if you take the time to poll forum members on whether it's a good deal or a desirable gun... it WILL be gone when you get back to it!

Don't ask me how I know... twice!
