Here's Tehya, she's an Australian Shepherd.

She's only five months old here, and now has passed her first birthday, but Bonnie's puppy pics captured that great Golden Retriever personality.:)

My cutie pie....Katie Scarlett, Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier

My neighbor got one of these. He has a HUGE amount of energy. When I see them out walking or I go to visit, I mess with the dog and get him super hyper then leave. The neighbor hates it!

FishingPilot.....Yes they do have a bunch of energy. I think she has a case of RedBull hidden in her kennel. She will run you silly and still want to play more. But she is kisser and a hugger!

That's a winner for sure, labworm.

Thanks to all of you for posting. I've enjoyed this thread immensely, and all of your four-legged friends are keepers!:D

Here's my boy Teddy. He's about 5 years old. We rescued him from a shelter about a year and a half ago. Our old place had a bad mouse problem. Teddy solved that pretty much instantly. Our new apartment is much nicer and he has since retired from mouse patrol. He now splits his time between snuggling on me or my wife.

What a sweetheart! I love Goldens. I have had three and each had a different personality but all are deep in my heart.

Thanks for the pics, it brought so many happy memories back.

I found some pics of the dog, Boogie and the cat, Howard, sparing.
Let's get ready to rumble!

Here is a picture of a fellow vet, Military Working Dog ACE, V156 (his ear tattoo). Ace and I went through Military Working Dog Patrol Dog Handler school together at Camp Bullis, TX., Jan. - May 1974. One of the hardest things I ever did was stake Ace out after I finished and had to leave him there, and I'm sure like all military working dogs he was put down when old. He was a beautiful GSD as you can see and even tho I value the friendship of every dog I've ever had, Ace and I had a special bond. Vaya con dio compadre...

Every picture in this thread is great, but this is the one.;):)
Thank you guys!!!
The cool thing is ever since my granddaughter was born they have been best friends since. She has stabbed him in the face with pens, bit his face, stolen his food, and routinely beats him up and he don't care. She is old enough now to know hurting him is bad and when me and him play rough she gets intensely upset and tells me not to hurt him, and the funny thing is for a Boston he is over 30lbs of rock solid muscle and crazy strong for a little guy and he hurts me more than I hurt him. The only time I have ever seen him lift his lips in anger is when another bigger kid pushing her around at the park. He got right in front of her and basically told the boy do not mess with this one! It was awesome!!!!!
