Let's See Some Dogs !

Constant companion

This is Skeeter. Miniature Rat Terrier. She goes with me on the truck every day. If I stop and go into the office for more that 5 minutes, she`ll get in the drivers seat and start honking the horn. Luckily she can`t reach the air horn cable.

Now that is a pretty little dog! Beautiful coat and markings. And how can you not love those ears?!? She looks happy and...mischievous. Like she might play a trick on someone. I'll bet she's a great road companion.

Thanks for turning the pic right side up. Looks ok on the computer files, but I don`t see any way to shift them. She`s never met a stranger. Thinks everybody is her friend. She will be 13 this July and still hunts mice all the time when I`m loading and unloading.

Is she making that low in the throat whiney growl?

No, she isn't growling. She just sorta halfway exposes her teeth, not really even a snarly expression, and stares intently at me. I figure it's sorta the Annie-equivalent of you or I raising our eyebrows in a questioning look. If she wanted to vocalize, she'd simply bark.

Watchdog , there's nothing finer than a boy and his dog ! That's one hell of a story . If that doesn't bring a tear to your eye , you're not wired right .

Here is my girl Ursa, lost her at 12 and a half last year

My two boys waiting for momma to get home. Italian Mastiffs. This picture skews it a little. The lighter dog in back is actually the larger of the two, by 14lbs, at 131. Took them to Mt Vernon on Saturday. Beautiful property, paid our respects to a true American patriot

Our latest guide dog trainee, from yesterday. We have to take her back in a couple of months. It's a lot of work raising service dogs, but the hardest part is giving them back. 15 hour drive each way to do that is not fun, either!
