I'll add some photos of mine when I get it next weekend... :) It's a six inch 28-2 made in 1983...non-pinned barrel but recessed chambers.

Beautiful photos!!!

Nice looking 28,
How long ago? Or when did you have the work done by S&W?

Thanks
Carl

Got this in a trade from a Fine Gentleman and Forum Member.

Serial Number N328XX, stocks match, matching box and I have added a period correct instruction sheet and tools. I plan keeping this one and passing it on to my son.

I've posted this elsewhere, but here again. I walked into the LGS about 6 months ago and a young guy had this new in the box. He traded it for a Taurus Judge. I made it mine as soon as he walked out the door. Shipped Aug '70. As far as I know only the factory and I have ever shot it.

help with internal piece

is there anything that holds the hand from flopping back towards the back of the gun when pointed muzzle up, if pointed down the hand works the cylinder and makes it turn but if i point it up it doesn't turn the cylinder. HELP
