Hmmm. Caj was looking for a new phrase to replace @#$%@#% and )_*(*_)( to use around the Grandkids. Hey Caj!it's called being "ducked".
FWIW: My BIL and SIL are both 65 and give and receive ducks with other Jeep owners.
As an outsider, the whole jeep/duck thing is silly.![]()
A close buddy and his wife have lifted, tricked out, his and hers, Wranglers. Neither will ever leave the pavement; both have dashes laden with stupid ducks. To each his own.I don't consider myself as a Jeep "insider", but having owned Jeeps since 1994, and currently owning two (a 2004 Wrangler Rubicon and a 2023 Gladiator), I also find the "duck" thing silly
I also notice (sample size = 1) that it seems to be "new to Wrangler" folks (who usually purchase Mall Crawlers, that will never see dirt, and will probably own it for 2 years, and never own another), that are into this
No one that I know, who owns a Wrangler/Gladiator, has "ducks" on their dash

Cmon RustyWhat's wrong with having a little fun and frivolity with a Jeep. If I had one I would sport some dash ducks.
Also, the last I checked folks are free to spend their money how they choose. If they want to trick out their Jeep that is their business not mine.
