Don't pass on cast bullets for practice. It works just fine. I've never known a more reliable semi with cast or jacketed.

My wife has a CM9, she switched from a BG380 to Kahr.
She loves it and shoots it pretty good. I shot it too but it's too small for me. I need a rubber sleeve for it but then the CM9 is still to small for me.
I have a P9 and prefer it over the CM9. It's a tad larger. Still have a rubber sleeve on the grip though.
They both run perfectly fine with all kinds of ammo, jhp, ball and hard cast.
