LOST MY BEST FRIEND TODAY AT 5am

I'm so sorry you are hurting with the loss of your companion and friend of 14 years. I've also lost many a pet and it hurts every time. And then I thank God for giving me the time I had with them, as they brought untold joy and happiness into my and my family's life.

Sorry to hear of your loss. It's always a hard time for us. I too have gone through what you're feeling...many times. The love they give us and memories are what keep me going and I do remember each and everyone one of them. Keep your memories close to your heart and with time you will heal. My thought are with you.

Truly sorry for your loss. I've been there and know how it hurts. There's a "hole" in your world. When the time is right for you, get a rescue dog. Not to replace your friend but to give a loving home to an unknown friend just waiting for you to find him/her.

Pets are indeed family members to most of us.One of the first things you will see when you pass over, will be her welcoming you home.Just know that she is ok where she is.Sorry for your grief.

Most of us have been there and experienced the same tragic loss and gut wrenching sadness and pain. I'll send up a prayer for your comfort and acceptance. Think on the good times, the funny moments and heart warming comfort you shared for all those years. Look at her pictures some times. She will never leave your heart. God bless..........

Edit to add: I just went back and took another look at her picture and tears filled my eyes and I felt something crack in my chest. What a sweet and precious little pooch. Looking at that loving face I am once again reminded that grief is the price we pay for loving. And IMHO well worth it.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful little girl. What a wonderful life you must have had together for fourteen years. That little dog probably knew more about you than some of your human friends.

I know how hard it is to lose a much loved companion who's been a constant presence in your life, heart, and home for so long, and to lose that presence literally in a heartbeat. If you're like me, you feel as if your own heart will stop. You might even wish it would.

She's in her forever home in your heart now, though. She will be there until you see her again. My sincerest condolences to you. I can't put it any more plainly than that.

Gg,

I feel your pain. I lost my best friend (14 yr. old girl kitty ) last December. I miss her everyday! The pain will pass, but you will always miss your good friend.

Take care,
Mike

Thank you so much for your encouragement and prayers. If getting better is down the road, sadness and tears are like steps and we will get there someday. We do have Bella and Star for several years now that help us with love and licks, they are also Chihuahuas (yes they have their green cards), I have noticed today of their odd behavior, starring at the doggie door, perking up when we say CEE CEE's name, SO SAD! I'm supposed to pick my new 2 3/4" model 69 tomorrow at my lgs, things seem to have lost their significance.
Thanks guys
