OK, got your attention. I don't usually inquire about completed auctions but this one caught my eye.
Pretty fair condition 4" M-57, a "S" prefix from 1964 (if I see the serial correct). Grips definitely got my interest.
The G.B. # was 902305177 and ended yesterday. I had made inquiry with the seller ( a FFL in Sitka, AK) but received no response. I might have thrown bid but,,,,
Anyone here see it or better yet, WIN it??

I would have given 1350 for that. i did not see the serial number, but the coke bottle grips are worth +/- 600.00. That is almost half the price of the gun

I bought this a while back, 1964-5 serial number, nice nickel....are these the original cokes?

All you "lookers" missed the boat(except one)! The case is a Velour lined case used with the FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION model 57s(1964) only! Those cases will go for $400-$500 and the high priced cokes, you would have gotten the gun almost free!

Bobwilly...The stocks on your Model 57 are original. Also, the case with the satin lining is actually scarce to rare and was used for a short time in 1965. I consider it to be a "transition" type case from the velour lined case mentioned in post #9 to the clamshell case that was used until 1969.
