M&P-15 22 Accessories

hotnanas thanks for the link i found some great stuff on that site. If they get my magazine to me before S&W does im going to cancel that order and order from that site. I also picked up a Hogue AR15 Pistol Grip and the flip up sites

I placed an order with rrages a few months ago. Item was not as I expected, and he refunded all my money plus the cost of return shipping. Good vendor and would buy from again.

Dittos. Claw mount for a GSG-5PK, and a quick release vertical foregrip for the 15-22. Great service on both transactions, and products were nicer than I expeced, for the price.

thats good to hear. he/they have some good deals there. i do like the troy sights... might be a good excuse to get a FACOG and reflex. ..damn it, i told myself i wasnt going to go all "silly" with this gun, but here i go..

i said the same thing.

here are the sights mounted on my 15-22. Without any adjustments, they are pretty close to lining up with the red dot. I can't wait to get out to the range to zero them in.

ignore the blackberry photos, one would think that as an amateur hobbyist photographer, that I would use my actual camera more. if only my SLR would automatically update the pics to my photobucket.

does anyone know if there is anyone who makes the LaRueindex clip type product, in a OD or maybe a tan-ish?

There's no word from LaRue as to other color options yet. But since LaRue made it, I wouldn't be surprised if all the offshore airsoft manufacturers start ripping off his design in other colors.

Speaking of.... I'm still surprised that there are not a bunch of different rail ladders out there being sold for a couple bucks each. At $10+ each, it's got to be one of the biggest rip-offs in the accessory market.

i agree. i would have thought one of my sponsored kids would have cornered the market.. just goes to show you that 'for about the price of a cup coffee' doesnt get me crap!

That Chinese prison camp is busy making lasers and electronic scopes. I guess they figure that they'll leave prooduction of less sophisticated items like rubber booties to American labor and companies like Magpul...:confused:
 
Molds are very expensive and molding machine time is pretty spendy too. If somebody here wants to have an onshore comany build them a mold and make the parts, let me know.
After the parts are made, all you have to do is sell them, and make a profit. Or at least break even. Part cost comes down to economy of scale. One part would cost thousands, hundreds of thousand of parts would cost pennies each.
If more people paid attention to the origin of the products they buy, avoid the ones from offshore and buy only Made in USA, the money would stay here. But we have a global economy and some things are unfair. Oh well!! There is not enough room in this forum for staying on this subject. Remember, buy U.S. and sell overseas.

Especially when the offshore companies directly rip off original designs from US manufacturers and do it with none of the quality. Then you get the jerks who try to pass them off as the real thing.

I understand and agree.

But..... I just bought a fairly new product from Larue, rail clips that will completely cover a carbine rail. In addition, Larue includes a bunch of differently designed clips to handle the routing of remote pressure switch wire. As well, a real nice Larue ball cap. And.... a Larue bottle opener. And.... a bottle of Dillo seasoning... ALL for $20 bucks. On the other hand, ladders to cover the same carbine rail from Magpul and others are almost $50!!! So... ?

Use a 17.0mm reamer = .6693 inch, a touch tight. Or 43/64" =.6719 just a touch loose. But after slip on flash hider and reamer or drill purchases, you might just as well have had your barrel threaded. Plus you have a lot more options for end of barrel accessories with threads.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy Larue clips are to get on and off yet rock solid when installed. Every now and then I am overly impressed with a product... and this is one.

I don't know why Maxi is using the Larue bottle opener when a hammer and chisel will work just as well. :p

Nah... they pop right off. And for those who have struggled with Magpul XTM rail panels... the Larue clips are a breeze.
 
I have installed the Larue index clips on my 15-22 and love them. They are infinately adjustable to suit almost any accessory you wish to use. They clip on and off with finger pressure and are tight on the rail when inplace. The price also seems reasonable to me.
