M&P-15 22 Accessories

Just ordered my mp15-22 with threaded barrel and side ordered a can and am lookin for other accessories,but dont kno what and where,this is my first SW,besides the Bodyguard on order,what other bling can i pimp this little plinker with..!!,, thanx
 
Hey PhatHD, where did you get the flash suppressor for you Mark? Iv been interested in getting one myself..

Im new to the AR world and just got my 15-22 w/threaded barrel and A-1 hider,I would like to put Magpul MOE stock on it,Ive read a few different views about commercial stock or mil-spec ,,before ordering,how do i kno if i have a mil-spec or commercial tube,,,,,,(i want the modification to get rid of the loose ill-fitting stock)...I hear a mil-spec has to go on Mil-spec,but Commercial will fit either..thanx,,And as always check your six......

Mil-spec is the smaller standard, so yes the larger commercial stock will fit the smaller mil-spec tubes.

The 15-22 has a mil-spec dimensioned receiver extension.
 
If you put a commercial-sized stock on your mil-spec sized tube, it will be as ill-fitting as the OEM stock you want to replace.
 
Thanx,,,Mil-Spec. it is then,anyone have a good lead on place to buy one,,,been bouncin around the internet some,cant stay focused on one item long e'nuf before im onto mags,optics,cans,grips,rails,slings,,,geez,,I gonna have to get a job....
 
I'd check Craigslist and Backpage in your area for smoeone who might have one to sell. Ebay and Arfcom are also good sites for stocks.
 
hello all just purchased my M&P 15-22 rifle

Hello all,

Just got my M&P15-22 ordered and excited to see hwo it shoots im new to the rifles. Going from a bolt action 22 to a semi auto 22. Heard a tons of great things about the M&P15-22 and cant wait to go shoot it.

Also wanna try squirrel hunting with it and wanted to get yours guys advice on a good $50-$100 hunting scope for the M&P15-22 that has zoom on it.....

I just picked up my S&W MP 15-22 and also purchased a Browning Buckmark Holographic Sight.

What's a good rail mounted flashlight and laser to get?
 
I use a Streamlight Polytac LED mounted w/ a Weaver Quad Lock Scope ring from Walmart. Works awesome
 
Does any one have the quick release base set on their gun... if you do which one would you recommend... along with the scope if you would. Thanks! EDIT: btw i would like to varmint hunt with it with about a good range with 150yrds maybe.. thanx again!

I put on the NcStar MARFQ AR Riser with quick release weaver mount. Added a 3-9x50 scope on short rings and haven't looked back.
 
looking for a good cheap flashlight with pressure switch any ideas?
 
I would get the picatinny mount that is integrated into the scope. Their optics are clear and they seem to be durable. The one I have does not have a big change in brightness from low to high. They all seem to be the same brightness. But I don't use the illuminated reticle, so it makes no difference to me.

Thanks dude.. i plan on getting a bi pod, sling, grip, and some extra mags.. by reading this forum Ive seen a lot of great websites to find most of the items i want... thanks you've helped me alot!:)
My purpose for this gun is to hunt smaller game, and just shoot with it. i would like to place farther shots just in case. Just trying to push the gun to its limits.

I have just recenlty purchased a M&P15-22 and would like to add a flash suppressor to the barrel just for cosmetic purpose as it looks totaly bare and was wondering if there was any available that could be attached without having to thread the barrel.?

You would have to go with a barrel adapter, they clamp on to your barrel and the other side is theaded to install your flash suppressor. When Im on my computer at home and not at work ill post some sites that have them.

I preferred a one piece slip on flash hider as I don't intend to change it. I found a nice one here:

trijicon makes some nice looking tritium lamp ones.. almost wish i noticed them before i got a red dot. they are just a post and ring that fits other sights (they are warrantied for like 12 yrs). i think i may have seen one other company selling fiber optic ones and i think it was just a post as well. hi viz or something like that.

Thanks for your suggestions. By the time I have all the accessories that I THINK I need, the cost will be more than I anticipated....but look at all the fun I'm having?
