M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

It's red crayola . Shows much better than in the picture. I have been considering changing it to white , shows up better. Love the gun, i have run about 800 rounds without problems . Only thing i have had is the mag loading . But thats even better.

Awesome setup. I love your light fixed directly under the gun. Very streamline and clean. How is turning the light on in this position. Cant see the on off switch.

mhbrookins,

Just a friendly tip. When replying in a large thread such as this one which is 62 pages in length, you need to either hit the "quote" button in the post you are referring to, or type the user name in your post that you are responding to. It will make your post easier to follow.

Brett thanks from me I always wondered what that was for and now I now. Never to old to learn. I will also use it.

WHY WONT S&W MAKE A THREADED BARRELL FOR THE CA COMPLIANT WHEN ITS PERFECTLY LEGAL???

Im thinking of getting a ca compliant m&P 15-22. S&W as of today wont make a threaded barrel for the 10 mag gun. Even though its perfectly legal to have a threaded barrel in CA. Whats going on there????? What makes the gun CA compliant besides the MAG. It would still be CA compliant with a threaded barrel. Seems like apples and oranges to me. Let me ask this question? Will a 25mag fit into a ca compliant m&P15-22??

Here's mine!! I put a Hogue grip on it, along with a NC Star LED light, and an Osprey red/green dot sight. I LOVE this gun. I just ordered two more magazines for it too. The sling is made by Outdoor Connection, I got the piece that connects to the rail from a guy I know, I'm not sure where he got it. I keep this gun by the bed at night, I hate LED lights on my pistols. I know it's not the ideal gun to use for home safety, but if this didn't do the job, I've got a few more pistols to break out on em!

You can still see the red dot sight with the iron sights on the gun, you can't really tell but I tried to get a picture of it. That's another thing I like bout the red dot sight.

Looks fun huh? I'll know any day now if she's ready to run. Magpul xtm rail covers with the EMA Mgrip. Next is some sort of dot.

Update

I got a Tasco 30MM Red Dot sight and a Pro-mag 1". I also added the Hogue grip.

I have now put at least 3500 rounds in and all is well. Groups and accuracy are great.

My turn!

Updated again.. Added a Hogue grip, LaRue Tactical index clips and an NcStar 3-9x42mm Mil Dot scope with DDAB Red Dot.

(No the GemTech is not mounted, it's just stuck in the front end, because my Barrel is at the machine shop right now getting threaded)

Been haunting the forums for a while. Loving the info & pics guys. Gave me plenty of ideas. The only thing left to do is Surefire rail ladders, and I'm really intrigued by the suppressor for the .22's. I may yet do that.

Anyway, bought mine to replace the M1 carbine as the designated "raccoon controller". The M1 is a little too loud at night.

And no, I normally don't shoot animals for sport. I left the raccoons alone... until I saw them being aggressive with my cat. Don't mess with my cat!

private party:
BSA red dot
surefire x200 (i SEE you mr raccoon!)

From midwayusa:
falcon rail mount swing swivel
blackhawk universal tactical sling

from cheaper than dirt:
tapco rubber butt pad (rifle felt too short for me)
leapers UTG foldable foregrip
Chip McCormick tactical trigger (hated the stock trigger)
mako mag coupler

I have a friend doing mine.

Contact BeltFed here on the forums, he offers barrel threading and does fantastic work!

here is little better picture

Here it is with my gsg5. These two guns fulfill the same fun niche for me.
The GSG5 has the PM sight without a kill flash.
The 15-22 has the PM sight with the kill flash.
The MBUS give a good lower 3rd cowitness so I think the set up is going to work.
Still have not fired the 15-22 yet.
