M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

I was handling one at a local shop on thursday and I almost had a impulse buy, but i had a voice behind me (my girl) tellin me that my gun "addiction" is getting outta control.

Well that is a simple solution... lose the voice/girl. problem solved

Update on mine. I got rid of the UTG shorty vertical grip and replaced it with an AFG2; it was way too heavy for what it is and ruined the balance of the gun. Also took off my red dot setup and threw on a 3-9x illuminated scope.

This BEC scope from cheaperthandirt:

Kinda crappy but it's illuminated and it's perfectly fine on a 22LR at 3-7x. Only got it because someone local was letting it go for $20 and I figured why not.

Had mine for a week...just using a cheap Tasco Red/Green Dot...built a custom sling...Adding a Surefire light/ Magpul stock and a nice coat of Sand/Earth paint...more images to follow--LOVE THIS FREAKIN GUN!!!

Re: Scope Question, SW MP15-22

Hello everyone, this is my second post to the site, and I was curious if anyone here has qualified at the Apple Seed Shoots with a MP 15-22 using a scope?

Reason I ask is, in June I took my new plinker, and tried it open site, but the rear site is to large at 25 yards, and im also blind, and cant see the 400 yrd targets.

I did a ton of searching and found 1 company selling different rear for the ar2 but they are out of stock.

Most of the guys qualifying for this thing do it with scopes, so I want to make sure and get something with enough light intake.

If you have mounted a scope for target shooting, please post a reply, and include the make, and ring sizes as well.
