Isnt the aimpoint mounted too far back rendering the flipup mbus sight useless as it will smack in the aimpoints face?

Besides that, nice gun!
(What flashlight is that?)

Yes it's too far back, just mounted for pics only, still have not shot her yet, still New!

Its a Spikes CAR-1.. ;)

so does that CAR-1 you have, able to look like a barrell Shroud and a screw on can as well..? b/c the pic you have on like page 162 shows it as a barrel shroud looking can, not a screw on, I love the look both ways, but i like the shroud look just a little bit better.. You're going to make me buy one cause it just looks so sexxxy..LoL

Not quite as detailed as the MRI shroud. I wanted a bit smoother in appearance.
6061 billet threaded adapter with a 6063 anodized outer tube then painted in a high heat ceramic.
I toyed with the idea of leaving it clear anodized aluminum but opted for the black to match the rest.

I have had it 2.5 weeks now and already have 2000rds thru it. I love the versatility it offers with the PA 1-4x scope. Anything from close range to 100yds (furthest Ive shot with this rifle) is easy to hit within 3" shoot n' c's. I was surprised on a windy day I could stay inside 3" at 100yds shooting quickly with Federal bulk.

DSCN1895.jpg

I just got mine 3 days ago.
MOE, Dark Earth. CUUxxxx, BSA Red Dot on twin Yankee Hill Mini-Risers provide a perfect Co-witness vision thru the Magpul irons, BSA Laser with button wedged between the rail cover and the Magpul Railed Verticle Grip, MI brand Sling swivel-mount quick detach,Uncle Mike's Hand Grip. I went with low-end optics but I like the looks so far. Some of those other add ons I bought were expen$ive enough!

Just got some more goodies. Thanks for the fellow members inspirations.

NcStar scope
AFG
Cheap vertical grip
UTG bipod
Spikes Car-1
Belt-Feds extended charging handle
And yes I do use both front grips. For the shorter shots I use the AFG the longer shots the vertical grips help. Just got the bipod to sight in the rifle.
Spikes ladder covers

(pics aren't the best but what else to expect from cell phone camera)

holy parallax! Do you need the stock on your abdomen to see thru the BSA scope? :D

:):D still didn't test it ....need to zero it first. good news is rings are adjustable so i can lower them if necessary. another member of the forum has the same rings and from what he said it's pretty easy to shoot (no need to flex the abdomen muscles )
