I like it. It's good for what I use it for. When it's on 9x the view is not as clear as I would like, but I hardly use 9x.

Just picked up a second 15-22 for my Dad for Father's Day...he's wanted one for a while now.

Found it locally - DVAxxxx serial, updated springs, threaded barrel w/ factory flash hider...for $260!!! Claimed 200rds fired, and it looks like that's the truth!

Best deal I've come across in a long time!

Anyway, here's a family photo - You'll notice that I snagged the threaded barrel for my rifle (the one on top in the pic)...I plan to get a suppressor some day, and Dad could care less. Win-Win!

Because it is a SBR. I had 10" cut off the factory barrel, threaded and recrowned.

Here's Mine

This is my 15-22 that I have been working on for a few weeks.. I was going for a custom look without breaking the bank. Here is a list of my mods..

Added a 40mm scope, some rail covers, a fore grip, barrel shroud, extended charging handle latch "Thanks belt_fed", KAC hand stop, Bipod, Butt Stock Shell Holder.

Painted my a few parts camo using a sponge and some spray paint.

Bent a Magpul B.A.D lever from another build so it would clear the receiver and actually work.

Made a custom scope sun shade out of a 2 inch shop vac tube. Fits very snug!

Did the 15 min practical trigger job and then used a ¼ x28 ¼ socket screw to take up the trigger creep.

That's all for now.. Baby boy on the way so the projects have to go on hold for a while.

Future upgrades I would like to do are, dust cover, magpul stock, magpul miad grip.

Those of you who have issues with Federal firearm restrictions (which I DON'T have to worry about) should probably not view this...

15-22P with FAB Defence M4-style stock, VFG (designed for their K-***), Mag Couplers and Single Point Sling. Custom silencer (yes! It IS silent... not a 'suppressor' 'moderator' this).

NOTE: I DID NOT CURSE (above)... The FAB Defence VFG is from their K- pea oh ess! You guys have a seriously paranoid filter!

Great looking rifles!

I have a question about your Spikes version though. The RVG looks to be slightly darker. I bought an RVG for my 15-22 yesterday, and it looks somewhere between FDE and OD, and I'm really sure what to think. Are your two RVG's the same color, or slightly off?

Also, do you like the Hogue grip? I'm thinking I'll end up with that over the MIAD/MOE options.

Bone stock, right out of the box. Actually thinking of keeping it that way, just to be different. Although, on second thought......I really like the tacticrayola treatment.
And just FYI, the magazine is not all the way in.

I agree. Sometimes simple and clean is just better. IMHO

I love it...What is the name of the barrel shroud you bought from belt_fed? It look oversized in diameter.

Anyway, you have one heck of a gun there. One of the better ones I've seen on this forum.
