Hi! New guy here. I recently purchased a 15-22 A1 to replace a p.o.s. Umarex Colt M4. The difference in quality between the two is night and day.

I thought I'd leave it stock... but that didn't last long :D

  • MAGPUL MBUS Front & Rear sights
  • MAGPUL AFG
  • MAGPUL MAID Grip
  • MAGPUL MOE stock w/ 0.5" cheek riser
  • MAGPUL B.A.D. lever
  • UTG rubber rail covers
  • Reduced power trigger spring kit
  • Light polish of trigger contact points
  • Cheap laser
  • Bushnell Tactical Elite 1X32 Red/Green T-Dot Scope

I think I have it set up just right now. I'm having too much fun with my rifle

i ordered the same Bushnell to replace a reflex sight...any feedback on it?>

The Colt looks great, until you start inspecting it and see all the pot metal in the action. The 15-22 is a much better firearm.

Here's mine after I installed the new Trueshot Technologies A2 sight and flash hider. I also cut 2" off the fore grip to better position the new sight. Other add ons include houge grip, Magpul buttstock, Carry handle rear sight and a few little odds and ends. The Trueshot Technologies items were great quality and were very easy to install!

I mounted the Bushnell T-Dot yesterday. I haven't been to the range with it yet.

I tried to take a picture of the sight picture:

This is on the most intense green setting. The sight is sharper in real life, than in the picture. I was trying to hold the rifle in one hand, and camera in the other.

The on/off/intensity dial is large, and easy to manipulate.

I've read various reports that some of these left Bushnell with slightly canted "T" sights. Bushnell replaced the defective scopes under warranty.

Mine was good to go right out of the box.

Tell me about it. On the Umarex Colt I owned, the barrel dislocated from the action. The bolt can't be removed during a field strip. Umarex states in the owner's manual that the bolt never has to be cleaned. These pictures were taken after I cleaned off caked on crud.

The only thing that fixes the barrel in place on a Umarex Colt M4 is outward tension from screwing down the flash hider.

Dan,

Your 15-22 looks great! It makes me want to get another 15-22, and do the same thing.

those internals look like they come from a tippman 98. Just fine for a paintball gun, but you need to expect a little more in a rifle..

where did you get that MP case?

The case is just a plain black tactical case. I bought the M&P patch on Ebay and attached it. Thought it might add a little character!
