M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Smith and Wesson M&P15-22 Pink Platinum 22 LR

Just saw this version on the LIPSEY'S website.

I am going to have to use this to try and convince my girlfriend to start shooting. That way, she will stop bugging me about how much time and money I spend on ARs now.

UPDATE: She's considering shooting with me sometime! A step in the right direction....

beautiful. as for the foregrip, do what you did with the mag....leave some parts black and paint some tan accents on it

i have that same VFG and if you rough it up with some fine sandpaper it takes paint well--although i hated how big it was so i hacksawed the heck out of it first :D

Fits right in to the conversation I had with a coworker. Anything but a "no" is a yes. So congratz :)

First post, been reading for a while. I figured I'd just start off by introducing my baby and myself. Glad to see so much info flying around for such a fun gun
-Let me know what you think

Quick shot of mine, testing the sights next tuesday.
Not sure how they will hold up (cheap chinese copies).

Not sure which sight looks best :)

(the books are homework for when "it" start ;) both are a fun read)

it is done...complete...finished--i literally dont have anything else i wish to do except shoot the bejeezus out of it

I intend to buy a few more magazines and Tacticool22's infamous mag reloader when it is completed...

couldnt be happier with this rifle--functional, beautiful, and simple!

its a Sight Mark Reflex...got it at my local Scheels store...for $110 it has worked very well; takes a common size button cell battery and has 4 reticles and 5 brightness levels to choose from...i am very happy with it--

I am actually unimpressed with the Magpul BAD a friend has on his Rock River setup--it seems like another gimmick mod to me...just my opinion

Here's mine, very plain against most everyone else's. Just some color, Tapco rail covers, and 3 extra mags.

The only thing I still want is a some sort of optic (not sure what, leaning towards a 4x scope)... and maybe a suppressor... and a Harris bipod... and a Hogue grip...and a few other things.

Thinking of making this into a Mark 12 clone.

^^^ nice

I have logged on to post a few pics of my in-laws 15-22 as he is still unable to post (mods if you read this please allow JMS93)

I did the paint job/selected parts for his rifle after he brought me the original pic saying it was missing something (im a mod geek for cars, pc, and guns) I do have an issue with the parts I painted for him though.... The mags are starting to scrape the paint at the bottom (don't know if you can tell from the pics he provided) I usually paint metal (cranes, cars, etc) so with the polycarbonate I used krylon for plastics..... Did anyone else who used paint mods use an additional clear coat? (I didn't think necessary for the krylon, but could have been wrong)

Anyway four more pics in the next post...
