M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Thanks I found the boxes at my local fishing tackle shop? Don't know why they had them but I grabbed them sharpish and lined them with foam so they keep everything quiet.

I need to find a local store that. Has a ODG close to my magpul. I want to paint my stock and mags. All I've been seeing is forest green

For those in the States, Ocean City Job Lots has snap-lid sandwich and food boxes of several sizes that are great for shooter's stuff - and they are very inexpensive.

I snagged some Feta cheese plastic containers from my wife. They are great and hold nearly 300 rounds...plus they are free and I recycle them when they wear out.

I use mine to take loose ammo to the range, but also for parts storage as well as hand loaded ammo storage in large amounts in the ammo vault. The larger sizes are good for holster and sling storage, too.

These have gasketed tops and they have snap clamps on all four sides. I'm not sure they are water-tight, but they will keep it out for a few minutes if you drop them in the water - assuming they float. :D

Dude.. you over-sprayed onto your carpet when you painted :D

will post pics of it all set up when dry.

NICE! how did the CAA grip take to being painted ? Did it dry OK or is it still tacky?

I painted something for Halloween 2 years ago and some of the paint is STILL tacky.

It was still tacky when the rest of the rifle had dried so as recomended I put it in the oven for a few hours on a low heat and the paint is solid.
On a seperate note does anyone know of a barrel shroud that will still allow me to use my mod ? I have the pc version which has an 18 inch barrel.

Hey fellas, been lurking awhile so this is my 1st post. Pulled it out of the box new on Tuesday morning ($450 out the door) and had a buddy that got me a nice deal on all the magpul goods that night. Just got out last night to get er' sighted in at the range. Super fun, this rifle is everything that I hoped it would be! I want to add a barrel shroud and paint all 5 of my mags FDE. On to the poor cell phone pics...

Trial shroud I know it's a bit rough but I know how I want the next one to look.

My 15-22 so far

Loving this carbine. My only complaint so far is that I need to start wearing turtlenecks to shoot at my usual range. I've already got (4) 22LR sized brands on the base of my neck and back from casings double bank shotting their way down my shirt...

Here it is on the night I picked it up:
Before install of stuff

After install of stuff

Shooting at paper

Stuff so far:
UTG and Magpul XTM and ladder rail covers
Magpul AFG1
Magpul RSA
Magpul MS3
Hogue grip w/ storage
Not pictured:
Magpul ACS-L
Magpul MBUS
Weaver QD Riser

I also picked up a Nikon P-22 2-7x32 BDC today but the rings I bought weren't high enough to let it clear the rear MBUS. Hoping to get it mounted up tomorrow and I'll try to get some pics.

ugh, it sucks to be outside the USA and own guns, all the cool parts arnt available outside the US and most people incl NDZ, cant/wont ship :(

we are allies and still its impossible, grrr.

Oh well, no zombie slaying stuff for me.

You could find someone you trust here, place your order, have it sent to their address, and pay them to ship to you. ;)
