Think a hole is drilled and its pressed in.

The sling swivel cups come standard on the MOE version. I used the Uncle Mike's QD mounts on mine and did just like Incredible Me said. I drilled a pilot hole all the way through the receiver and then drilled out both sides to fit the cups and glued them in with JB Weld.They have held up pretty well for about 2 years now. I got the parts and put my 15-22 MOE together last night and I went with a simple 1-4x Bushnell Banner scope.

Been lurking around here for a bit, bought my 15-22 at the end of December when things started to get nutty but thankfully got it before everyone caught on to gouging prices. Anyway, it's an moe with vortex strikefire, primary arms magnifier & flip to side mount (holiday sale with cantilever mount). Grip was just swapped out for a miad. Pretty much it, little busy of a rifle but it works for now and a blast to shoot.

I like your case. Where did you get it?
