M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

In Post #3699 of this thread I said that I was "Done Done Done", but I should have known better than to be so positive. I found that Magpul XTM Enhanced Rail Panels were better for me than plain ladder covers in controlling the sweep of the muzzle. They just feel better in my palm.

I can shoot very accurately with the BSA red dot at either 25 yards or 50 yards, however because of its height above the bore, if I zero it at one, it's off quite a bit for the other, so I chose to zero at 25 yards since that will be more in line with the targets at a Ruger Rimfire competition. I'll defitely upgrade my sling, once I decide on which two-point one I want

i've noticed a lot of the one piece scope mounts being on backwards. you want the scope mount OVER the front, not the opposite. purpose is more acreage on your receiver rail, not less.

Is than an LED converted E2D or an Incandescant one?

Incandescent. I have a really cheap LED that runs on 18650's that is three times as bright as the ED2. For what SureFire wants for the conversion, I could buy a whole other light (or two.) I've really wanted a pressure switch for this light, but again, don't see paying SF's price for that either. It's only on the rifle because I happened to have one and my brighter lights spend time in more useful roles.

Send your peepers over to TNVC.com, their 200 lumen head also runs two hours and is only $75.

You can also see if you can find a Veleno drop in tower. I found one ages ago, but it wasn't what I wanted so it is in my E1B as a general use light (it is a weak yellow LED, not the brighter white one) I haven't seen a Veleno for sale for ages, but they do work.

I've heard good things about the TNVC, but because of ITAR I have obviously not seen one myself.

go over to dealextreme.com

i buy from them at least monthly. torches are divided up by battery so they are easy to look through. inexpensive, free shipping but you have to wait about 3 weeks since they are in China/HK. i've got some retina burning lights from them and i never buy batteries anymore since i have all rechargeables and chargers bought from them. worth every penny.

My first ever Smith & Wesson rifle... Added some magpul furniture , a Spikes Tactical CAR-1 can ... Gotta say these rifles shoot great !

Damn I am hoping to buy back my 15-22, or pick up a used one after my wedding.

Strait out of the box. I was not really looking for a camo but hear it is. Bought a black one it had problems & one thing let to another gun shop said they would do a buy back & give me another. Not wanting to take a chance on one from the same batch I got this one & I have to say, maybe because it runs as smooth as butter, it is growing on me.
So now I am wondering tan or black add on's ?
OR ? I am open to any ideas, what y'all think ?
I have seen a lot of great stuff here but not many camo.

I'd vote for black since you already have a few black accessories. Nice looking rifle.

Between the two choices, I would say black... However, my first choice I think would be OD or foliage green. That would probably blend the best with your camo rifle.
