M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Thanks, I love the thing, it also can unravel very quickly if you need it too, great for survival situations, I'm thinking of selling a couple of them, (not in white, that was the only color I had enough of, there's a ****load of 550 cord in there)
Maybe I'll post a misc. thread about it.

I would certainly post them up for sale. I would say you should have some pre-made and "ready to go" in standard colors (Folliage Green, FDE and Black) and then do custom orders as well.

Very cool stuff! How many feet of 550 are in one of those, approx?

Shooting geese in the hayfield, pretty long shots considering my glasses where busted.

I definitely should, I think it's a cool accessory, approximately 1.5 ***loads (I once knew but have since forgotten and the only was for me to find out again is to unravel my sling, wich I'm obviously reluctant to do) I guess I should premake a small medium and large, then measure those out. I'll post a thread asking about interest sometime this week.

Crayons, 91% alcohol to clean prior and to clean excess. Once I was satisfied, I used Hoppes Cleaner to clean the white haze that the alcohol didn't. Then some light Rem Oil on the whole thing. Took me about 2 hours because of my OCD. Lol.

Gotta love OCD quality.

Got a great deal on a Hogue Monogrip off Amazon, with free 2-day shipping (I have an Amazon Prime membership, love it) that actually showed up the very next day:

$14 and I really like the feel of it. Can't wait to try it out at the range!

You'll love it, it's one of the first things I add to mine...

Is there a model number for that? I found one with the description "Hogue .223 Rubber Grip with Finger Grooves 15000 Black" and want make sure it fits before I order it. Also, is yours hollow/have an opening in the bottom of the grip?

Yes, the bottom is hollow (among other things this provides access to the allen-head screw that holds it on).

I still have the package. There is a sticker on the bottom of it which reads "AR-15 / M-16 and similar rifles 15000". It is black, though there's nothing on the package that indicates this.

The packaging itself calls it a "Monogrip for AR-15", states it is "Made for: Colt AR-15 and compatible rifles", and proclaims "EASY INSTALLATION!"

Which is good, as mine came without instructions. ;)

nice, 2 of my 'real' AR's have the offset BUIS on them like yours, another has a RMR offset, the RMR is a hunting gun for when those coyote's come screaming into the decoy at 50 MPH and you see nothing but fur in the scope, just a slight turn and from 0 to about 75 feet where i have it set for zero and they are toast!
