M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Bought a nice travel/carry case for some of the guns today. Plano 54" hard all weather case with pluck foam. Could've put another pistol in it but I liked the spacing I ended up going with. Inside is my HK VP40, Walther PPS and my S&W mp 15-22. 2 mags for each pistol and 4 for the rifle.

i like that case also, what is the model number if you know. they are pretty "proud" of them price wise, but not like a Pelican. Need for next season.

Greetings from the communist state of New York. This is my second rifle, my first 22, also have an m&p15 sport2. This rifle was a real hassle to get here, took a few months, but I love it, was worth the wait and the money. Put 100 rounds through it the day after I brought it home, was a real treat

With all due respect, sir I'm not quite understanding the grip either. Could you please post a pic showing how you position your hand to the grip leading to the trigger?

Thought I'd throw up some more recent pictures of the S&W

Added a streamlight, got a 50 round drum, and a kineti-tech barrel shroud with a 2" extention.

Here is my first S&W M&P AR15-22... Absolutely love it! I added the red dot (which is co-witnessed with the iron sights), put the angled fore grip on, and added the sling! I also put an edge hand grip and rail covers plus painted the butt stock to match the grip and cover! Then put a recoil pad on just to give it a little bit of extra length for me!

I might experiment with a magnified red dot and add a laser for fun!

Picked up my second 15-22 yesterday (had to sell first one when I moved back to MA from FL). Feels good to be reunited and can't wait to hit the range. New handguard looks sharp and I immediately set it up like my first 15-22 with a hogue grip, Magpul rvg, and reflex. Now to stock up on ammo and mags

Did my first rattle can job last week. Surprised myself with how well it came out considering I've never done this before.

How has your scope held up? Does the 1-4x actually function? Is the 1x even close to being a 1x?

I finished my AR custom rifle to my final liking! Didn't want to spend a lot of money on it so I ordered a few things and made the rest myself!

Here is what I bought:
-GVN angles foregrip
-AARMCO tactical sling
-Vokul red dot with pressure switch
-45 degree angled weaver mount
-Edge pistol grip
-AR rubber butt pad

-custom barrel shroud
-painted Adjustable butt stock
-1can Rustoleum camo tan textured spray paint

My first post here

I first want to thank all of you for a great motivational thread and learning experience. I lurked here for months and read every page. Over the past winter I dived into modifying my 15/22s and am very happy with the results. Here is one of my efforts, before and after. I began with a Magpul edition from a gunshop listed as new but shopworn for $299, it came stripped of its Magpul furnishings but I did not care because everything was coming off anyway.

My son and I have been working on our new 15-22 Sport. Added the scope with qdc mount, laser, reflex with a 45° mount, light, grip, fore grip, bi-pod and sling. We also picked up a couple extra 25 round mags and one 35 round.

All ammo we've ran through it works great, but we prefer the CCI Mini-Mags.
We had the first gen A1, and I think I liked the 4way picatinny a little better on it.
