M&P .22 Reassembly Problem

I bought a M&P .22 pistol 2 days ago. Last night I decided to clean it and remove all the manufacturing oils and such. I field stripped it and decided to go further as it was caked with grease. I figured if I can detail strip a 1911 this little .22 cant be too bad. Boy was I wrong. I took the unit out that has the trigger and hammer in it and took that apart. I can't put the unit back together. I researched and tried for hours last night. Does anyone have an exploded view or maybe a video? If not is there somewhere I can send it to get it put back together and maybe get a trigger job while its apart?

The M&P22 is very similar to the Walther P22. While I cannot find the same detailed information on the M&P22 (yet), maybe this will help: P22 Exploded View

Hmmmmm, it looks like there is simply too many differences in that P22 exploded view to try using it on the M&P22. Would be super awesome if a M&P version existed.

I sold a new Colt SA Frontier Scout to a fella once and within the hour he brought it back in a paper bag in pieces. He had taken it apart to clean it and could not get it back together. We took it into the shop and rushed it through and he got it back the next day at a charge of $40. We told him it was clean and lubed and ready to go and it was not necessary to take it apart. Before the day was over he was back with another paper bag full of parts. He said he just couldn't believe we got it back together and he couldn't. It was the middle of hunting season and our smith was swamped with broken toys so this time he had to get in line and wait along with everyone else. It was maybe two weeks later and his gun was ready again at a charge of $55 which included a couple of key parts he had lost. He came in and got the gun again and paid his fee and left. The next morning he was waiting at the front door with another bag of parts. I asked him what he was shooting in it that made him think he had to go to that extreme to clean. He told me that he had not shot it yet but he just couldn't let the thing beat him. This time he managed to retain all the parts so when he finally got it back it only cost him $40. There he had his brand new revolver with all the grip frame screws boogered but he finally took it out and shot it . He had spent $135 getting his smithing corrected which was $10-15 more than the gun cost in the first place but I doubt he so much as took the grips off after that.

Ok I joined the screwed it up club. Without all the details. I partially disassembled my MP22 pistol and two small springs came out. I was attempting to see how a safety removal would be done, as I know that a forum member made a kit for that. I removed the hammer also and later saw these springs on the bench.
The springs are slightly different in size, and I believe they are somehow related to the sear. It was under tension, and now, well it isnt. I have absolutely no idea where they came from. Does anyone know of an exploded view of the MP22 or a video that completely disassembles the gun. Its maddening that I cant find one anywhere.

P.S. If I have no luck, will S+W reassemble the firearm if I send it to them?

If I could find out where they belong I could do it myself. Gun is back together minus these 2 little springs. It seems to function , but obviously they belong in there.
Im so annoyed at myself for creating the problem, and S+W for not providing exploded diagrams.

Can you take a picture of said springs? One probably goes between frame and the sear tab bit on the bottom of the gun. I can't think of any others that would just fall out...

That is a great standard practice to take photos especially when getting into something new. My iPhone camera gets a real workout some days keeping me out of trouble. I hate it when I hear a spring go flying past my ear and ricochet off the wall never to be seen again.
Even "large" objects that drop on the floor and bounce or roll can seeming vanish off the face of the earth.

Thanks, but I figured them both out. The slightly larger one was the one between the sear and frame. was fairly easy to install. That surprised me. The second one was from in the frame, not the chassis.
I wouldnt even think about opening the chassis up. That I believe would be a real mess.

Tested my newly reassembled gun. 300 flawless rounds. I absolutely love this one.
It can surely eat thru a stash of 22's I just checked, and I'm down to 7000 rounds.
